James and Ilana enjoyed a perfect summer Dallas Union Station wedding. The couple moved to the DFW area a few years ago and now call Dallas their home. The distance didn’t stop any of their family and friends from coming to the party!
James and Ilana opted to have a first look and I was in total agreement! We choose the outside area just outside of the Grand Hall. It is a private area that showcases the beautiful architecture of the venue. The pillars and 48-feet ceiling creates an amazing backdrop for portraits. We were able to capture wedding party, family formals, and couple portraits immediately following the first look. With all of these images taken care of, James and Ilana were able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests.
When Ilana inquired about photography services, she mention that she was a friend of a previous couple. James was the life of the party at Nick & Bradleigh’s wedding so I knew we would have one heck of a party for their wedding. After cocktail hour, guests moved into the Grand Hall to continue the celebration. The high ceilings were perfect for what would happen next. The couple started the party with a Hora dance. Family and friends lifted James and Ilana in chairs while other guests danced in circles around the couple. This set the tone for a very lively reception. The dance floor was packed from that moment on.
Thank you James and Ilana for trusting me to capture your summer wedding at Dallas Union Station! I loved celebrating the beginning of marriage with you and I hope you love the images as much as I do. Keep the party going and never stop dancing with each other!
