Nicholas and Bradleigh tied the knot at Flagstone Farm in Vance, Alabama. The 75 acre venue was the perfect choice for an outdoor Alabama summer wedding. The day started out cloudy with a few scattered showers but the sun started to shine bright just before the couples first look. This was typical for an Alabama summer day so we all ready for the day. Bradleigh brought a clear umbrella just in case the summer showers decided to stick around. Luckily, we didn’t need the umbrella but we took a few images with the umbrella as a keepsake.
If I had to describe Nicholas and Bradleigh in one word it would be resilient. 2020 threw tons of obstacles at the couple but they were determined to have the ceremony they planned many months for. COVID-19 caused the couple to postpone their April celebration so they chose to have an intimate ceremony with just a few family members in April while they made plans for a new date. I would say the change in date did not hinder their vision at all!
Family is very important to Nicholas and Bradleigh. The day was filled with family. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped with a cameo necklace with pearls around the bottom. The necklace has been in the family for over 100 years. The couple dedicated an area to Bradleigh’s biological mom near the unity candles. This was a special way to honor her mother.
I’ve seen brides arrive to the ceremony in different forms of transportation from limos to horse drawn carriages. This was the first time I’ve witnessed a bride arrive in a blue classic Ford Mustang. This was the coolest entrance ever!
Thank you Nicholas and Bradleigh for trusting me to capture your summer Alabama wedding! I loved celebrating your marriage with you and I hope you love the images as much as I do. I cannot wait to design your heirloom album!

You shot this wedding beautifully! I have been enjoying seeing such small ceremonies lately, but can’t wait to see the big parties once this is all in the past!
