Cozy Engagement Session | Wildflower Wedding and Event Venue | Emory, Texas
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding process. After tons of phone calls and email interaction, I finally have the opportunity to learn more about my couple on a personal level. For Meagan and Caleb’s engagement session, I met them at their wedding venue, The Wildflower Wedding and Special Event Venue in Emory, Texas. Having your engagement photos done at the venue can be a great idea because you may get to have the venue all to yourself!
During the session, I learned a few things about the future Mr. and Mrs. Raines. First, family is very important to them. Meagan and Caleb decided to bring along a few family members to the session – mom, brother, sister-in-law, grandma, and nephew. I knew from this point on to make sure I incorporated as much family as I could in their wedding gallery because this was something they valued. Second, we were going to have a ton of fun on their wedding day! Caleb was full of jokes and laughter during the session so I knew I would get the same on the wedding day.
The Notebook is one of my all-time favorite movies. It was a dream come true to be able to capture the love between Meagan and Caleb in a boat. If a family of ducks would have appeared and it rained, I may have just passed out!
