One of the hardest things about a bridal photoshoot is holding on to gorgeous images until the wedding day. I am elated to finally share these stunning portraits of Caitlin captured during her outdoor bridal session in Fort Worth at Stoney Ridge Villa. She was stunning in her lace Bliss Bridal wedding gown. Honestly, when I saw Caitlin’s complete wedding day look I just knew Cori would be overcome with emotion when during the first look!
I met Caitlin and Cori in person a few months prior during their engagement session. Caitlin brought her step-mom along to assist with the wedding gown and it was great getting to meet additional members of the family. This is a great tip for brides-to-be. Having someone with you to help you get in and out of your gown during your bridal session is very beneficial.
Let’s take a minute to talk about this location. Location scouting for bridal sessions can be a tad daunting. Caitlin’s wedding venue was the perfect choice for the session! Stoney Ridge Villa has amazing locations on the property for creating beautiful imagery. Caitlin told me she wanted to take portraits on the rooftop and I happily obliged. The rooftop images look as if we were in Santorini instead of Fort Worth, Texas!
Caitlin braved high winds and cold winter weather during her outdoor bridal session. The high winds lingered throughout the day but Caitlin was a sport and pushed through her session as if it were a sunny spring day.
