DFW Micro Weddings | Fort Worth Botanic Gardens Wedding

2020 brought an increase of intimate DFW micro weddings. Alex and Clarisabel joined in on the trend with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s (FWBG) rose garden. FWGB is an excellent option for couples planning a micro wedding. Since the garden is filled with gorgeous flowers, there isn’t a need for tons of decorations. There’s also ample amount of space to physically distance your guests.

The day included elements of tradition and new customs. Although Alex and Clarisabel chose to scale their wedding down, they celebrated their union with a traditional vow ceremony. The couple decided to live-stream the ceremony for family and friends who were unable to attend in-person. How fun! Sharing the day with family online gave Alex and Clarisabel so much joy. After the ceremony, the couple designated an hour to couple portraits. This amount of time allotment is a rarity with traditional weddings. I can’t wait to see what other new traditions DFW micro weddings produce for the future!

The couple joined the live-stream after the ceremony to thank everyone for tuning in! This was a wonderful opportunity to include distant family and friends.

It was a pleasant surprise to have the rose garden to ourselves for the final images. That doesn’t happen often.
